Grand Theft Auto (GTA) is a series of action-adventure games created by David Jones and Mike Dailly. Players complete missions in an open world to progress an overall story, and engage in various side events. Most of the games in the series are set in fictional areas based on real cities, at various points in time from the early 1960s to the 2010s. The gameplay revolves around driving and shooting, with occasional role-playing and stealth elements. The games feature a series of storylines centered on different protagonists, each of which is very exciting.
