Tom Cat and Jerry Mouse are created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, Tom is a grey and white anthropomorphic domestic short-haired mute tuxedo cat, and Jerry is a brown mute anthropomorphic house mouse. Tom and Jerry is American animated cartoon series about Tom’s never-ending pursuit of Jerry. Tom rarely succeeds in catching Jerry, mainly because of Jerry's cleverness, cunning abilities, and luck. However, on several occasions, they have displayed genuine friendship and concern for each other's well-being.
