Editor‘s Review

Critically, it could be said that Spider Fighter 3 by Starplay DMCC does good in certain ways and yet it faces more serious challenges as far as attracting gamers to the game is concerned. Spider Fighter 3 was released on December 14th, 2022. This is an adventure action based on mobile, more or less, with more complex subjects underlying.

Spider Fighter 3 tries to show an interesting plot-being a hero and fighting in a city, but to players, it may be performed not so well because the plot is easily guessed and the characters barely grow. A straight story mode usually feels more like hard work than a fun adventure because missions use the same goals without adding exciting surprises or character growth.

Unlike other superhero stories that have so much emphasis on the emotions and growth of the character, Spider Fighter 3 relies so much on the actions and does not really develop its protagonist and antagonist. Without depth in the storyline, it could result in the players losing their interest since most would want not just fighting but an attachment with the characters they are playing.

Full of acrobatic moves and web-slinging skills, this fighting gameplay in Spider Fighter 3 sounds exciting but can very well get boring extremely fast. For the first couple of fights, everything is smooth: smooth animations and fast controls, which cannot be said about all these repeated fights with the same types of enemies. Needless to say, the game can get even better by introducing enemies. Needless to say, the game can get even better by introducing enemies that would act differently or some special boss fights that can test players’ mastery.

Also, while the successful gameplay of Spider Fighter 3 surely requires learning to fight well, minor in-game issues with hit detection or behavior of enemy AI may actually make players feel frustrated in-game during the fights. Such technical snags can actually break the successful gameplay.

Exploration is a significant feature in which Spider Fighter 3 does well but miserably fails due to similar repetitive design choices. Open-world sandbox mode allows players to move anywhere in the city, but it lacks those lively features that might incorporate different NPC interactions or environmental challenges that would even make this exploration decent. There isn’t any feeling of motion where different activities are not found outside of combat when a player walks down known streets.

More than that, side quests can contribute to improving skills, but very often they look just like the main story goals and don’t add anything new or interesting. That is what can easily make players tired of doing apparently one and the same thing till it works.

Altogether, Spider Fighter 3 is one of the most interesting mobile phone games; it promises great fun, parry, and action. The setbacks of this game are weak storytelling, variance in combat, and poor exploration. However great its look and feel may be, players who like depth in the stories of the games will be mostly disappointed by its frailties. While it can be fun for casual gamers, it might not meet the needs of those wanting a deeper gaming experience.
