Editor‘s Review

Marvel Puzzle Quest: Hero RPG is a game that has all the Marvel elements that contain the details a puzzle quest will ever need. It’s a great hybrid of an RPG and match-three game. There are quite a lot of players that definitely adore this game around the globe with more than 20 million players and there are so many Marvel Super Heroes in there that more than you even realized there are. So in the game, you can choose your favorite Marvel character and let this person represents you to solve match-three puzzles.

I love this design of combing an RPG game and a match-three Puzzle game together. This reminds me of one of the mods or special mini-games from Warcraft III. It was a long time ago but still, remember vividly seeing them solving the match-three puzzles one by one and summoning different minions to fight for them to defeat the enemies. It’s sort of similar in this game as well where you will have three of your most powerful superheroes or three of your favorite character from the Marvel Universe to defeat your opponents. Each time you will be able to use abilities after you matched three in a horizontal or vertical roll. There is health on the top of the screen that will tell you exactly how much health is left for your heroes and maybe suggest how strong you and your opponents are. I have always been a great fan of RPG games and I love how everything interacts with one another to bring out this special “chemical explosion” from this game.

There is some feature that I need to bring up to let your guys know. In the mobile game industry, the most common universal goal is to get profit for the developers so do this game. In the game, you will be able to power up your characters to hundreds of levels and there are star ratings for different heroes so I would recommend going with higher rating heroes as much as possible if you want easier victory. Anyway, I couldn’t necessarily hate this feature because it adds more pliable content to the game when people start to upgrade their favorite heroes but it definitely could be a bottomless money-consuming hole for kids of young age or someone who isn’t good enough with self-control. So be cautious with your fortune! I love their heroes' profile pictures which I think are comics which is just wholesome to have more elements adding to the game itself. Different superpowers are available for you to upgrade your heroes so upgrading takes a bit of time since you will need material and game gold to do that.

One thing I appreciate the developers for doing is the hidden exclusive story mode. A lot of RPG games on the market or from what I’ve seen lack pieces of dialogue or storyline. So adding a story mode in the game is a smart move and personally speaking, I enjoy the story mode in an RPG game even though stories can be boring sometimes. Something I love other than that is the fact that the developers do care about the player's body. They are updating the game very often and more characters are being added to the game! If you are not that familiar with the multi-Marvel Universe, there aren’t any other better apps to get to familiarize yourself with all the less-known heroes that never appear on the screen. The game is free and if you can stick long enough in the game, you will be able to gain all the resources without costing a single penny!
