Editor‘s Review

Paw Patrol: a day in adventure Bay is a mobile game with all of your favorite pups from the cartoon Paw Patrol. This game costs 3 bucks which isn’t that much and it doesn’t have a lot of downloads so you might still be hesitating to download this game or not for your kids. Well, I’m here to help as a game player that will briefly walk you through the good parts and the bad parts of the game. So bare with me.

As you can probably tell by the name of the game, it’s about a day in Adventure Bay. So you kids will be taking a trip on a special adventure and doing their rescue mission in the Bay. All those favorite characters from the show will be there to support them throughout everything. I love the fact that the developers legitimately bring everyone from the animate to the game because as a fan of the animate series, I couldn’t express how great I feel while seeing all my squad are here to support my adventure little journey.

The game teaches kids to do basic stuff with the pups in the game, like brushing their teeth and eating breakfast. As someone who suffers from not having the best daily manner like not washing my hands, this app is a lifesaver since I can show my kids what to do if I turn out to be a father someday. And this app with the pup is a better teacher than me because I’m the adult but the puppies in the game are the friends of the kids so they would listen and do the stuff the pups are doing.

The other thing I like quite a bit about the app is the interesting fact that you can dress up your little pups and make them the pups you want with their style of clothing. It’s like dressing a human but your kids will be dressing up the cutest pups. The missions are fun to spend time in because you will be asked to do a rescue mission from Ryder just like in the cartoon and it’s not just the kids having fun while doing the mission. Because, on some occasions, I got bored, I decided to try this app which was designated for my nephew. The mission of avoiding obstacles and learning missions to get to the destinations are fun and I had a good first time trying out this game.

I would recommend parents to play this game with their kids because parents are the best teachers to the kids and this app can be the second teacher the kids have. The kids will learn how to take care of themselves from the app and the jobs of parents are to keep the kids on track of everything.

Something you should be careful about in this app is the fact that the game doesn’t have a difficulty setting which makes a lot of parents worrisome about this matter. Because the game is too simple at some point and the game gets too hard afterward. If the parent doesn’t have the option of making the right settings for their kids, the educational purposes of this app would be gone. The game doesn’t work its charm if the kids require the parents’ accompany to do everything together. And the other technical problem that I’ve seen a lot of people point out is the app being crashed over and over which doesn’t make any sense because players have to pay for this game. I hope the developers could revise the glitches and make the game great again.
