Tom and Jerry: Chase is one of my favorite Tom and Jerry-related games ever! I’m a big fan of the game Onmyoji which was also created by the gaming company NetEase so it’s kinda surprising to see that this game was also created by them. From their store homepage, I already could tell you how much I will love the game. The introductory home page game material pictures are some epic designs and the drawing of Jerry and Tom are just extraordinary.

I love how the game is about the cartoon itself because it’s about the chase which Tom and Jerry are all about. Tom and Jerry chase one another and make wise strategies to get away or capture one another. Their love and hate and cleverness in the cartoon were fully expressed in this game. They have all the classic characters and their unique skin and outfits which I adore this feature very much. I like how they have those customers from the show and make them into the skin you can try out while you are controlling the characters. It makes me feel like I’m in the animate right now as either Tom or Jerry. And they each possess special skills which are some brilliant ideologies in my opinion. Since Tom and Jerry have each weakness and thing they are great at, their unique skills designed for them is a catch to show their personalities and undoubtedly make the game more fun.

The game is also co-op and online which means you can team up with your friends however you want it to be. I often time burst into tears laughing while seeing all the Jerrys in different clothing and gestures. It’s so fun to team up with friends and do different missions. The battles in the game are quite amazing designed and the graphics and audio system are also extraordinary. I love this game so much and I love it more while I’m chilling with my homies. I love the fact that I can prank them in the battles while they don’t even realize me doing it. The game might look a little confusing at the very beginning but I promise you everything will be so much easier when you get more used to it. The game’s control system is straight forward which I like since on the left you will be controlling where your characters are heading and on the right, you will have all the actions you will be making.

The game adds some memorable details from the anime like the same pose Tom makes when he gets frozen and his running gesture Jerry is also the same in the cartoon. This is so iconic because I feel like I’m watching a unique Tom and Jerry Episode on my phone in this game but the episode was designed by myself. For the general game mode, it’s pretty simple to guess from the name. It’s about Tom vs Jerry only there are gonna be 4 Jerrys for Tom to catch. One thing I appreciate the game doing is the fact that it keeps track of the progress even if you uninstall the game and install it back later on. It’s keeping the record under the account.

The game could have some connection issues or get all laggy over time. Sometimes the game has some network problems and it’s pretty frustrating to wait for the lags to finish while you are in a match. The lagging issues are the main concerns the players have for right now and I’m hoping NetEase will get it fixed in the future updates.
