Editor‘s Review

Sesame Street has to be one of the weirdest but most interesting-looking cartoons that are in my perspective. It’s super popular so it’s not hard to imagine that people will make video games with this great show. There comes the educational game that I will talk to you about which is called the Sesame Street Alphabet Kitchen.

As you can tell by its name, the game is about Alphabet which makes the game mostly about the kids. First, you will download the game for free but if you want to gain full access to the game, you will have to pay 3 bucks at once to have the full access. I don’t like this feature and the reason behind that is I feel like I’m being cheated by the developers because it’s like I spend sometimes on my mission but when I try to delve into the mission more it’s asking for my money to get more into this matter. I just think it would be better for the developers to have this charge upfront. I mean I understand this is a marketing strategy to make profits but still there could be a trial run for the interested players and the charge can always come afterward. Anyway, this game’s a vocabulary learning app and it helps little kids to learn words and practice literacy skills by blending letters with the help of the Cookie Monsters. As a fan of all types of video games, that are on the market. I understand how much attention matters for little kids to learn things for themselves This game is great in this sense because kids are more likely to be following along with the app material since these characters are from the TV show they saw and I’m pretty sure most kids love these two.

As you probably knew from the name of this app, you will be spending time in the kitchen where you will be making cookies. Don’t worry, this is not a cooking game for your kids to play but to help your kids learn through the fun experience of making cookies. Your kids will learn vowels and a new word in his app and decorate these lettered cookies in the kitchen. I think this is a great design from the developers to get the kids’ attention but at the same time make them have a good time like in the other games they play. The game has an easy interface page and fun-looking graphics and the best feature of this game is for them to use their imagination and creativity to create combinations of letters to make them into worlds. There are a lot of words kids can learn and there are all kinds of cookies that are present in the game.

And now let’s talk about the downside of this game. The game has glitches and bugs that stop users from entering the game don’t wait up at the loading screen since it will never be loading because you are required to restart the app for the app to function. I think there are a lot of parents that are disappointed by this app because of the bugs that stop them from entering cause their kids adore this game. It’s so frustrating to see this matter and I’m also surprised how the developers didn’t seem to care about this at all with no explanations or trying to help to resolve the problems. Overall, if you can get on this game, this game would be a great fit for your kids to learn. But hold on to purchasing the full access unless you are 100 percent sure the game won’t break down on you.
