Cookie Calls? I was all confused when my friend was trying to tell me about how he downloaded this game for his little girl. I was like, wait, a Cookie can call you? Well, after learning a bit more, I realize it’s not the cookie you eat but instead Cookie from the great cartoon Sesame Street. This is an app for phone calls from Cookie Monster and will introduce your kids to life skills and so on.

There are all kinds of silly adventures that you can take on with Cookie in this game which feels amazing to just be dumb and do things on your phone. Well, when I was a kid, I always wanted to talk to Conan who is the anime character from the Japanese detective anime. So it’s nice to hear that a mobile app can offer me the choice of my nephew being able to get a call from some cartoon character in the anime. You will be able to receive voice chats or video calls in this app which I think it’s great because that’s what modern technology is all about by making your life more convenient with features that you can’t imagine happening 20 years ago.

The other thing I love about this app is that you can always choose to call Cookie anytime you would prefer. The reason why it’s so great is mainly cause he feels like a royal friend for the users where he will be there anytime you need him. If you don’t have any real-life friends, it’s a wise choice to give Cookie a call even though it might seem naive since the app is designed for kids. The app will give you emails and messages as long as you still have the app on your device. You can chat with him or do whatever you want. An excellent feature to have if your kids are shy or super imaginative and want to talk to everyone he or she sees on TV. The cookie will be there anytime they need him and you don’t have to bother your kids from doing their own little thing but just be careful of their eyesight since technology undoubtedly has its downsides.

Parents can set up the schedule of calling like for afternoon nap time or what’s so ever. This is an app for interaction between parents and kids as well. The best thing about this app is that it keeps reminding the kids of the good life habits they should have. Well, I’m not the typical obedient kid when I was little and I tend to have bad living habits like throwing stuff everywhere but never cleaning it up afterward. Like the app will tell your kids to wash their hands or eat vegetables. I couldn’t express how much this app is helpful to have because the kids are more likely to listen to the words from Cookie but get all mad if parents tell them what exactly to do.

Something worth noticing about this app. If you are in the family plan for google play. The purchase of the app is not universal for sharing, so you would have to pay for whoever is trying to play this game and that cost could be high if you have a lot of kids at your house. There is also something like the call being interrupted somehow but the background music kept playing on the main phone screen. While you are trying to call the monster, there aren’t any replies or talk back through the call. Even if you choose to uninstall the app, sometimes it still won’t work.
