Masha and Bear: Cooking Dash is a video game that surrounds the famous Russian animated character Masha. As you can already tell by its name, the game is about cooking your favorite dishes! The game is quite popular around the globe with at least 50 and more million downloads.

If you want to be a cook someday or you just are super into cooking, this game is for you! I just want to point out the fact that the game might not be the best fit for everyone cause someone might find this game way too easy or too naive. But this game is friendly to all age groups and there for sure is no violent graphic or inappropriate content. I love the ideologies in this game where you will be providing food for the animals. Normally, we tend to think traditionally that we provide food for those who need food and it’s mostly people. I think one of the reasons that we think delicious dishes are for humans is because we are enculturated by the adult world and most of the naive sense of self is gone over the year. I still remember imagining if I can make good turtle food in the future when I was a kid. I love how they set up the background settings, therefore. It’s more imaginary and undoubtedly more fun for the kids.

Masha and the Bear will cook food for every character in this anime series so if you are a big fan of the anime series, you will love this game since you are practically the life savior for those cartoon characters by making them food. Here comes my second favorite thing is that each animal would want different kinds of food or different ingredients in their food. This is realistic in some sense and I feel like this could also be a great lesson for kids their age to learn that different animals eat different food they prefer, so not your favorite food is their favorite food. This variety of ingredients and what they want to add more playable and enjoyable content in the game. The game has more than 33 ingredients which are quite a lot for a kid to try out one by one so there is no need to worry about if there isn’t enough content for the kids to try out.

The game’s basic mechanism is kind of simple since all the animals will come to your cafe and order food so your job, as the owner, will be to provide them with as much food as they want to have. Also to mention, I love the cuteness and nostalgic feelings the game has for me as soon as I was logged on to the game. The graphics don’t look too bad and the game could be more fun if there is more explorable content.

One of the things that players point out to the developers is the constant ads which aren’t necessary at all since the game’s targeted audience is the kids. It seems inopportune and they might be redirected to some website unsafe and this will stop them from having a safe gaming environment. The frequency of ads showing is kinda crazy since it’s showing you 2 ads in 5 minutes.

There is nothing else to complain about this game since everything functions great and the game doesn’t have any glitches or bugs which are annoying. It’s a fun cooking game and it’s designed mostly for kids. I would recommend parents to download this game and try to seek and develop it for their children’s future interests!
